Coffee done right. I did have to wait for a while the ONE time I went in for a London Fog. That's the assessment. One time. So take it with a grain of salt (pun intended?) But it was excellent, and I had a great chat with the server - I forget his name. I believe business should be about breathing life, and Higher Grounds does this in the community. I took the time to encourage someone else who was there and looked like they were having a rough day. Would go again, absolutely. :) I hear good things about their sandwiches! God bless.

A hidden gem in downtown Barrie. A must visit place on a weekend where you can sit inside and enjoy the atmosphere. Everyone in there are always friendly and you cant beat the fare pricing. I suggest trying the grilled cheese or the sausage brekky sandwich on a cheese bagel.

This is a short walk from the bus station on Dunlop Street. They follow the vaccine certificate rules. The coffee is quite good and not too hot. The staff was kind and we had a good conversation. ***This place does check for ID and vaccine QR codes***

This place offers fair prices, a great pay-it-forward program, and is run by wonderful volunteer workers. The positive energy here is truly heartwarming, making it a 10/10 for me. I just wish more for-profit establishments could learn from Higher Grounds and other non-profits like it. A little more fairness and generosity can go a long way. If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or have a quick bite, I highly recommend giving Higher Grounds a visit.

Great idea, great little place. Fantastic coffee menu, very reasonable prices. Perfect for that little snack. I really enjoyed this little place, much better and different than going to Tim Horton or Starbucks.

Absolutely THE BEST place around. I am currently eating their breakfast bagel on my couch and writing a review and drinking a Peppermint Fog. The food is delicious, Ive had both their breakfast and lunch items and honestly it feels like home. AND I've only ever had them deliver. Thank you very much for your service. Id much rather order from you than any of the chain coffee shops. Love Love LOVE!!!!
